Winchestia national football team
Winchestia has only a brief international history, losing out in the quarter finals at the last Baptism of Fire tournament and playing for the first time at World Cup 30. As there is no centralized Wincehstia Football Association, the WPL clubs are in charge of selecting the national team.

BoF Off-Field Controversies
The Baptism of Fire really lived up to it's name in the off-field department for Winchestia. It started when the two suppose star strikers, Ervin Firmin and Dallas Marayan refused to get along. Things came to a head when Firmin and Marayan got into a fight on an airplane. Though this did get resolved, they are no longer the first choice strike tandem (Marayan and Duman are).
Also, the appearance of non-human teams, specifically Az-Cz and the Mice of Miceland caused some of the more touchy Winchestians to join the radical Human Party. However, their distrust and fear of the mice eventually lead to their destruction, but not before many of the fellow BoF participants labeled all of Winchestia as bigoted racists. It is hoped that with their destruction, the Human Party lesson will always be remembered by Winchestians.
