</div>
  • ubhashinim on what he’s like as a coach: “Terrifying. He hardly says a word. He just stares at you.”
  • ubhashinim on withare’s reaction to a dismal performance against The Lowland Clans: “In the rooms after the match he didn’t speak to us at all. He just lined us up and stared us down. That really added to the humiliation.”
  • rosaniel when asked what he was like: “I know next to nothing about him. He is extremely taciturn yet everyone in the team is utterly terrified of him. Tactically he likes to take risks. To do so he shows great faith in his players. This combination of terror and faith has engendered absolute loyalty in the team. We would crawl over broken glass for him.”
  • The First Creek Falls Age on how to avoid celebrations: “The national coach slipped off the river boat 30 kms from McKillops Bridge and bushwalked home refusing to attend any functions.”
  • Boot-studder mckennap on more tactics to avoid celebrations: “Fans had been keen to catch a rare glimpse of the coach, withare, but discovered to their disappointment that he had travelled by trans-national train to Bonang and avoided the brouhaha.”
  • mckennap on yet more tricks to avoid crowds: “Apparently the crowd-shy coach, withare, was so nervous he locked himself in the engine room.”
  • mckennap on withare's powers of persuasion: "Some Nazis ran onto the pitch during the parade. After speaking with the potoroo coach, withare, they voluntarily left the ground. I wonder what he said to them. He does have a way with words, does withare."
