The thread for World Cup 2 was lost when the thread was deleted due to inactivity.

Before the move to Jolt, the inactivity period for a thread was 60 days. The final top-three, however, were:

1. Al Quds
2. Tanah Burung
3. Ziotah

World Cup 2 was hosted by The Holy Empire of Alasdair I Frosticus. At this time travel to the Dreamed Realm was somewhat easier than it is today. The Holy Empire's opening ceremony was a vibrant and spectacular one, concluding with a parade of participating nations.

World Cup 2 saw some memorable players and teams participate. Including Al Quds' dynamic defensive team. Second place team Tanah Burung were so impoverished entering the tournament that their kits had to be dreamed into existence by the hosts. Perhaps the most memorable player to grace the field during this tournament was Nick Churchill, who set the World Cup Scoring record at 38.

The Unofficial Final Four consisted of Europa Britannia, Al Quds, Tanah Burung and Ziotah. The details of the Al Quds-Tanah Burung game cannot be recalled, but it is believed to have ended 2-1. The Ziotah-Europa Britannia game concluded at 4-0.
