A region's World Factbook Entry (sometimes written as WFE) is the description placed at the top of the region page written by either the region's founder or delegate. Typically, this contains a brief description of the region, perhaps including why it was founded and for what purpose (if any).

World Factbook entries also contain one or more text links to Regional Forums, websites, maps, or other relevant materials that region members have taken the time to develop. For technical reasons, those links have to be cut and pasted rather than simply clicked. Many of the larger regions have copied their World Factbook Entry to NSwiki, where live linking is permitted. One would hope that World Factbook Entries will start to carry links to their NSwiki entry.

WFEs now have minimal formatting code available, with the following choices:

 • bold
 • italic
 • underline
 •
- horizontal rule (as below)
