History of Xiphosia-
Xiphosia- is a massive Former-Kingdom which resides in the midlands of Dark Lord Potter, however, the Communist party has not always held power within the country. As with many other nations, Xiphosia- was, at one point in time, an Absolute Monarchy.
Xiphosia- is a young nation, having been founded merely one hundred years ago. As a direct result, the Vorlonic Dynasty was only able to hold power for five decades before the citizens of Xiphosia-, following the precedent set by other Progressive nations summarily executed the last male in the Vorlon dynast, Gindalf(Pronounced: Jin-Dawlf) I of Xiphosia-.
An intriguing aspect with regards to the execution of Gindalf was the method, rather than the act. A furious group of populist penguins - proclaiming Socialism - carpet bombed the Royal Hovel at Penguiosa with primitive catapults before marching on the building wielding various cooking implements. Gindalf was barraged with numerous blows during the course of the siege and later execution: a fork was used to blind him, a spoon to remove the eyes and excess liquid, and a spork was, finally, used to visciously rip out the Emperor's jugular.
Xiphosia- Today
Xiphosia- today boasts a large population of 203 Million people and is growing daily. The country is ruled by the Penguinic Communist Party of Xiphosia-, which allows the populace few freedoms in the Governmental process. Every exchange of currency is taxed at a rate of 100%, and the Government redistributes all it detains according to the needs of each citizen.
A sprawling bureaucratic system of volunteers has been set up by the Party to monitor each citizens needs, and besides the outer workings we have no further knowledge of the political process within Xiphosia-.
The civil system, however, is the exact inverse of the political. Every freedom is granted, including the right to kill, under the fiercly propagated notion of them being "Natural" rights.
Public executions are held every Monday, in an attempt to help transition from the weekend. The economy is completely collapsed in upon itself, largely due to the recent revolution, though the Party is hard at work to mend this.
