Her Excellency Comrade Dr. Yasmine Cynthia Hazel Adeleke is the deputy ambassador of the People's Democratic Social Republic of Ariddia to the Imperial Autocracy of Uhuh-Topia.
Born in the rural village of Docre, near the outer suburbs of Espérence, she is the only child of farmer parents. An extremely bright child at school, she spent most of her free time either helping her parents round the farm or reading. She attended Espérence University, and has a degree in sociology, a Master's degree in literature and a PhD in mathematics, all with the highest possible honours. She took part in the Compétition Inter-Universitaire, a "high-brow" television quiz programme, three times, and led her team to victory on the first and second occasions. She has also participated in, and won, the quiz Max Questions, with her team achieving a record score of 72,000 points (which has yet to be equalled). She has admitted she has an eidetic memory, and is amazingly good at mental arithmetic.
She has written and published research articles in the fields of literature and mathematics, and is extremely knowledgeable in such varied topics as history, physics, and foreign socities. She has been described on several occasions as "the smartest brain in Ariddia", although she herself modestly disputes this.
At the age of 29 (see photo), she was offered a position as Professor of Mathematics at the Technische Universiteit Arcadia (Arcadia University of Technology) in Arcadia, Uhuh-Topia, which she accepted. On that same occasion, she was asked by the Ariddian diplomatic corps to serve as her country's deputy ambassador to Uhuh-Topia, under Ambassador Joan Silversmith.
Deputy Ambassador Adeleke speaks French, Wymgani, English, Dutch and Arabic (coincidentally, the same languages as spoken by Ariddian acting Head of State Nuriyah Khadhim).
Somewhat uncommonly for an Ariddian, she is a religious woman, being a practising Muslim. She is not married, saying she has "never found the time for it yet". She suffers from narcolepsy, although she says this has not significantly impacted on her career.
She has expressed great admiration for famous Ariddian author Abel Moeaki.
Uhuh-Topia maintains an embassy in Rêvane, Ariddia, headed by Ambassador Benjamin Cisko.
