The Queendom of Yesnono is a large democratic nation, which believes in moderation in all things, except its rampant apathy.
Yesnono Politics
Yesnono's figurehead Queen was put in place five years ago because the government thought the pretty spectacles would lead the people to care more about the everyday workings of the government. The people remain as apathetic as ever, only thinking about the government to complain when it directly interferes with their life, and the Queen now does light paperwork as well as her ambassadorial duties.
The Yesnonoian moderation sensibility has produced a reasonable mix of personal and economic freedoms, with an incredibly open political process. The citizens, when they can be bothered to contribute, have asked the government to focus on Education, the Environment, and Social Equality.
Geography
Yesnono is located in the south of the region of Lancre. It enjoys a temperate climate thorough the country, but residents agree that the capitol city, Yesnono City, is located in the most beautiful part of the country.
The country's pure environment allows the nationals animal, the penguin, to frolic freely in the pristine waters of Yesnono's stunning coastline and its many saltwater lakes.
Sports
Yesnono always loses. However, due to the Lancre Cup Organizing Committee (of Yesnono) (LCOC(Y)) hosting Lancre Cups XII and XIII in Yesnono City, the populace has redicovered its love of soccer and flamethrowers.
