The Yuunli Federation (Poirih: t Yuanal-Punt) was founded in April 2005, and joined the United Nations in the same month. A few days/years later, it was decided to move to the International Democratic Union.
Yuunli is currently considered a democratic socialist nation.
The Federation consists of two Autonomous Communities: Mich-Inzl (Mie-Inzl, former Mysh Island) and Chirachi (Zùrazzù, former Sklyrachy).

Political system
Executive
The executive of the Federation is the Executive Council, consisting of:
- Councilors elected for 3 years by the citizens. They make policies within the framework of the current legislation. Every Councilor is responsible for one department, such as education, infrastructure or international relations.
- The Representatives of the Autonomous Communities represent the executive of Mich-Inzl and Chirachi, respectively. With joint forces, the two representatives can block Council decisions.
- Chairperson elected for 3 years by the citizens. The chairperson's role is to moderate in case there is a conflict among Councilors and/or Representatives. Moreover s/he represents the Federation abroad.
Law enforcement is part of the Yuunli Zihahoit.
Legislature
The legislative branch of the Federation is called Legislative Assembly. The Assembly does not have fixed members, but consists of representatives of political parties. Those parties are elected every 4 years by the citizens in a proportion-vote system.
The Assembly also has Observers from the parliaments of Mich-Inzl and Chirachi, who have veto rights.
International relations
The Yuunli Federation belongs to the International Democratic Union, and it is member of the United Nations.
Geography
Yuunli consists of two parts: Chirachi is a landlocked part of the IDU continent (15% of Yuunli's population), Mich-Inzl is an island off the north-west coast of that continent (85% of the population). Yuunli has an area of 4,597,688 km² (1,775,936 square miles).
Mich-Inzl is located in the north of the IDU landmass. To the east, there are uninhabited islands and the United Islands of Amidonia. To the south-easte, there is the Empire of Keeslandia, to the south-west the Democratic Federation of Grosseschnauzer, and to the west the Holy Republic of Lloegr-Cymru.
Chirachi borders the Democratic Federation of Grosseschnauzer in the north, former Flankia in the east, the Gemeinde of Sober Thought in the south, and the Interstellar Federation of DataGenesis in the west.

Political Divisions
The federal government is responsible for international relations, social security (incl. health care) as well as economic cooperation between the provinces.
The two autonomous communities Mich-Inzl and Chirachi have the responsibility for national security (incl. police, hospitals, fire fighters), environment protection and infrastructure (incl. railroads and telecommunication).
The autonomous communities are further divided into provinces, 12 on Mich-Inzl and 5 in Chirachi. The provinces are responsible for economy, education, local infrastructure, research and technology.
The capital city Tenkaz has a special status. It is located between Itupt and Poapik on Mich-Inzl, but it is treated separately from all provinces and autonomous communities. So the city government has all the authorities that are usually in the hands of autonomous community or province governments.
The provinces consist of several districts, which usually combine places similar in landscape and local culture. District administrations have very little power. They have a representative function to defend local interests in provincial institutions.
The administrative level below the districts is formed by cities and rural communes. Cities are urban agglomerations, rural communes are associations of villages and small towns. They have the right to charge trade taxes, and they are supposed to create good local infrastructure within the city or rural commune.
The lowest level of administration is the neighborhood, which is a small part of a city or town, or a small village. The neighborhood is administered by the citizens living there, usually less than 500. Because of the grassroots democracy practiced there, neighborhoods often have a strong community spirit, e.g. to keep the neighborhood clean.
Populace
Food
The staple food in Yuunli is the pancake. Most pancakes are made of wheat flour and water, but there are also pancakes with spices and herbs. On special occasions, eggs are added to the pancake dough.
The cooked food (vegetables and/or meat) is always rolled inside a thin round pancake and eaten with it, then it can be dipped into a sauce. That's why Yuunlians use neither forks nor chopsticks.
Sports
The most popular sport in Yuunli is triball. The Yuunli Triball Major League finals is the highlight of the year for the TV station broadcasting it.
Religions
Religious affiliation is not asked in a census, that's why only estimates exist.
It is estimated that 71% of Yuunli's population follow a religion called strigidism (57% of them follow the traditional variant, 43% the modern variant) and 40% are atheists. The remaining 7% are mostly muslims and jews.
Chirachi and the mountainous regions of Mich-Inzl are strongholds of traditional strigidism, whereas the modern variant is stronger in the coastal and hilly provinces of Mich-Inzl.
Atheists are more common in more urbanized provinces.

Telephone Numbers
Telephone numbers in Yuunli consist of an area code and a local number. The area code is only necessary for long-distance calls.
Local telephone numbers typically have seven or eight digits. Only half of the possible numbers are reversed, so it is possible to add a digit when there are more telephones.

National symbols
The flag of Yuunli is a combination of the flags of the island and the continental part, separated by a blue band representing the sea, joined by a yellow star representing the sun and the ideals of the Republic.

Executive
The members of the Executive Council are elected by majority vote. The most important posts are the chair (moderating when there are conflicts), finances (managing the budget) and international relations (representing Yuunli abroad).

- Councilors for Environment Protection: Rutoif Bezbeita (FCP, Mich-Inzl) and Aleana Ticha (SLL, Chirachi)
- Councilors for Infrastructure: Liza Stoipa (FCP, Mich-Inzl) and Zapien Hoima (FCP, Chirachi)
- Economy, education, local infrastructure, research and technology are now in the hands of the Provinces.
- On the federal level, the consumer protection resort was merged with economy.
- Moreover the councilor for social security is now also responsible for families and children affairs as well as health
Legislature
The number of seats in parliament corresponds to the rounded percentage of votes a party received. Only parties with at least 1% of the votes enter parliament.
If the sum does not add up to 100, the largest faction gets the remaining seats.
If the sum is more than 100, the smallest factions lose seats.
