Born in Szhleigh, Jaeda on 05 September 1981, Attal is the daughter of two economists – both professors at Framindol University – as well as the neice of two Nobel laureates in economics: Ruben Attal and Arrah Attal; her mother's siblings. She spent most of her childhood in Abot-sur-Ram, Jaeda, a suburb of Ram, where she attended Harritz Secondary School. Her younger brother, Ari Attal is also an economist, who works in the Ministry of Finance as a member of the National Economic Council.

At age 16, she entered the Valinskya Institute of Technology (VIT), where she originally intended to study physics but soon switched to economics (B.S., 1999). She was also an active member of the VIT debating team. She attended Framindol University as a graduate student (Ph.D., 2002). She has had stints teaching at both VIT and Framindol. In 2004, at age 23, Attal became the youngest tenured professor in Framindol's history.

In 2006 Attal left Framindol to work under Praetor M'Kai as the Chancellor of Finance. She is the youngest Party leader in Morindira's history. Some rumor that she is M'Kai's favored candidate for sucessor.

Attal's private life has been followed closely by Morindiran culture magazines her entire life. Her friendship with Tomanian politician Iarwen ben-Adar has caused quite a sensation as has her romantic relationship with Morindiran actress Gabriel LeHeam.
