Zwangzug Broadcasting is the single television channel in Zwangzug.

Programming

  • live sports broadcasts ("sport", in the Zwangzug sense, being anything remotely resembling competition that wouldn't be found on the streets of Bangkok), such as Alan Babbage and Charles Turing's World Cup coverage
  • Rupert Bear: "the most risqué TV programme" (but see below)
  • Ricelands and Nicelands: a documentary series, filming various nationstates' environmental attractions.
  • Dila10: a science-fiction show notable for its scientific accuracy. The protagonist is on a one-way journey into space. With his life slowed by his travel at fast speeds, he can see generations rise and fall on the various planets he encounters. Broadcast in Algebraic English, it is often believed to have inspired Zwangzug's thriving space program.

Web-only

After a purging of "all violent and salacious material" from the normal broadcasting service, many shows switched to online-only, such as:

  • The Brash and the Backstabbing: things remotely resembling competition that would be found on the streets of Bankgok
  • Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things: a soap opera-meets-rock opera condensed into thirty-two-minute segments. (Zwangzug runs on binary time.) Equal parts plot and profanity.
