From Humble Beginings

Torino was founded on February 1st 2006 as a protectorate of United States Commonwealth. Torino was formerly founded by the nation of Federal Austria in whom he would be known as New Canada City in the future. When USC tried to enter the FCSTO it was rejected by a majority. Federal Austria however was granted an embassy by FCS and FCSTO.When It was granted an embassy under the name United States Commonwealth it was a small protectorate with a population of only 2. Months later this region would be more powerful and more populated.

A Crisis From Within

On March 2006 things started to take a turn for the worst in USC when populations started to fall and protectorates were starting to leave. Federal Austria decided to dissolve United States Commonwealth for good and create a fresh new start. Federal Austria decided to choose one of his protectorates to start a new and more glorious region that will have its own empire. During this time the Olympics had just ended. A few weeks later he choose Torino. When he entered Torino he saw that it was a waist. First, the matter of population with a small population of 2 inactive members and puppet as a founder Federal Austria decided that things needed to change for the good. And so he began to recontruct Torino from scracth.

A Fresh Start

When Federal Austria changed his name to New Canada City, he decided to merge all remaining protectorates with one region: Torino. He decided to refound the region under the new nation. When it was being refounded it was taken over for the time being by by Turin Piedomine. NCC made a treaty giving them the Turin in exchange for the region Torino. They evacuated quickly and NCC began to rebuild Torino.

Statehood

On May 2006 NCC once again came to FCSTO to request statehood. By a landside Torino entered as a state. However things started to take a turn for the worse starting immediately. The Prime Minister of FCSTO had detected that Torino was majority a puppet region. NCC urged that he would recruit however he did not know what to do and left the job for Mrs Carrothead for recruiting. From then on Torino's population hit over 20 nations, the highest in Torino's history.

The Puppet Scandel

A few days after being instated as a member of the FCSTO. Secratary-General The Planet Federation detected that majority or all of the members were puppets or inactive members in Torino. As a response TPF had ordered New Canada City to recruit members to the region or face that Torino is removed from the FCSTO. New Canada City was having difficulty recruiting and he asked for helpers and more time to recruit for him. Birmingham on of Torino's strongest allies sent two of their finest: mrscarrothead and contradicory_Views. Both of them and NCC help give the region Forum an extreme makeover and helped recruit as many as 19 or 21 members to the region. TPF was pleased...for now. After nearly a week of recruiting another scandel had rocked Torino, conserning not only the region but New Canada City. The Planet Federation critized NCC for lying to the public about Torino's condition prior to is statehood. As punishment TPF had removed New Canada City from power with an act. NCC had pleded for him to reconsidered and TPF instead left his official fate to the Upper House of the FCSTO Parliament. NCC, a member himself gave a final plea to the people of the Senate and majority of them voted to keep him in power. However TPF and the Senate warned him not to do such a thing again. NCC's popularity later fell deeper and deeper after that scandel. After two weeks since his approval to remain in office. NCC's true identity was revielled. NCC so happened to a volunteer of the Falkland Islands invasion. He admitted at first to TPF and he later placed NCC before the FCSTO Operations Committee or FOC. NCC was this time banned from making his plea. After a two week deliberation they came to a discission that he would have to resign and have is voting rights suspended for 60 days. He pleded for a less harsh punishment but they refused. He went to the FCSTO Supreme Court which have not taken his charges. NCC decided to do the unthinkable.

Torino Leaves

Two days after the discision NCC makes public that he planned to leave FCSTO and take Torino with him. He was met with huge opposition and hatred twords him. At first he had came to terms but for an unknown reason he went right back to leaving the FCSTO. The issue was later placed to the FCSTO Parliament by order of the FCSTO Supreme Court. But even before they could even finish the vote, NCC declared Torino independent. FCSTO ordered that people who wanted to leave for FCSTO ground do so before it is too late. Torino was left in shambles after an air raid by FCSTO.

Santa Ana and Torino Merge

A week after independence a leader of an FCS protectorate Santa Francisa and her region Santa Ana merged with Torino to make it a better place. They helped recruit members to the region. Things started to get better when Santa Ana and Torino merged. Could this be the begin of the end of the Torino Depression?

Torino Booms

Two weeks after leaving FCSTO a member by the name of Foxcollar came to Torino and helped recruit members. He helped rise the population from 10 to 25. A record in Torino history. With that they now began to establish a friendship with Isle de Foxcollar.
