Cayanace is a small island base owned by Cravan. It is considered by many to be a tropical paradise. It is also the center of all strategy in the SWTO, and the base out of which the Third Fleet is based. Admiral Martin Hale commands the SWTO from here.

The island is roughly 7km by 5km, and is relatively small. It is located in a tropical climate, and most sailors in the Imperial Navy dream of being stationed here.

The majority of the island is covered by jungle, and there are some streams running through it. The base situated on the island is among the most heavily defended in Cravan's military, equal to the bases at Cravna, Colorsia, and others.

History

The island was acquired by Cravan in the late 1950's, and immediately was put to use as a major naval base. An airfield was established on the island, and many defense bunkers were created. Long range RADAR systems were put in place, and the island is able to see at immense ranges.

Eventually, when Cravan was selecting areas to put command centers, the island was selected due to its secureness and relative position in the world. It was deemed a key strategic asset, and construction of the command facilities began immediately.

Base

The base on Cayanace consists of most things found at your average military base. An airfield, barracks, supply center, radar stations, naval facilities, and other key structures.

The thing which sets it apart, though, is the presence of the command center for the SWTO. Therefore, the base has a much higher security detail than most others of its size. There are several air squadrons stationed on the island, and the Third Imperial Fleet is based out of its naval base. It is considered one of the more heavily fortified bases of Cravan's military.
