Lord Takanori Yamamura (山村伊豆守孝則 Yamamura Izu no Kami Takanori) is the ruler of Oshima and Izu.
Born in Sashikiji on Izu Oshima, Takanori made himself the undisputed master of the Izu Islands before extending his power to the mainland, later receiving the title Izu no Kami (Governor of Izu Province) from the Shogun. He subsequently added Sagami Province to his domain after defeating the Hōjō family in the Sagami War.
A noted kendoka, Takanori won his future wife Mitsuko Yamamura in a kendo tournament.
