The Executive Syndicate is the equivalent of a cabinet in the State of Vertosa. The Syndicate is chaired by the President, who is the principal decision maker and policy maker. The President is also head of state and head of government. It is often referred to as the Syndicate throughout the state.
In the confederal structure of the State of Vertosa, the Syndicate looks after areas such as defence and foreign policy and general policy areas. More specific policies are determined by regional government bodies. However, in the event of an emergency the Syndicate can assume full control over domestic policy.
