Her Holiness Iretta Jinx was the leader of the former nation of Nemya before its envelopment by a Starblaydi expansion. As Nemya's former provinces (Giarista, Hecia, Tournetas and Veles) required stabilising and familiar influences to aid the transition to a new regime, Jinx was included on the Lord Protector's council.
Jinx now effectively leads the Holy Church of Nemya - Starblaydia's closest thing to a home-grown religion - and its members, who make up some 3% of the population, almost all confined to the four Nemyan provinces. Her presence on the council ensures that ethnic, religious and sexual diversity are seen to be well-represented in Starblaydi affairs.
She was killed in her own cathedral by Lady Viannor , though the public explanation was that the Break the Chain movement were responsible for her death. She was succeeded by Philippou Tsalikassis.
