This seems to be a rather pointless page. We're not creating disambig pages for any other first name, so why are we doing this one? I'm posting it for consensus deletion. → Fris Θtalk 23:09, 8 Jan 2005 (GMT)

Well, there is also Mikhail I, the Daddy of Mikhail II, a bio on whom is upcoming. So that will make at least two Mikhail named characters. But well, if you deem that this page is useless, I do not see why it should continue to take up bandwidth. Mikhail 23:27, 8 Jan 2005 (GMT)
Thing is, all these monarchs and leaders are Mikhail N, where N is a Roman Numeral. If you want a list of all the Mikhails in your nation, Mikhail, which may help for the sake of tidiness, why not make a Royal Family Tree page for it with links to the bios? Then, if you add it into (and if needs be, make) a Category for your own nation, you'll get an organised solution that won't be a superfluous disambiguation page. Several nations have their own categories already, so it's not unknown. IdioC- エドの狂いtalk 19:35, 12 Jan 2005 (GMT)
I think this is exactly what I'll do, but as long as this article is still on, why not use it? I did some search on the Wiki on the name Mikhail and saw that many people had characters by this name, but nobody really bothered with a biography. Guessed that could be useful if someone did come up with a biography. Seems as not, so well. Mikhail 12:01, 13 Jan 2005 (GMT)
True, but wouldn't it be advantageous to have a page that is explictly yours? Should the disambiguation be required later, you can always add a link for the "monarchs of your nation" page then, and look one step ahead of other pages with the organisation IdioC- エドの狂いtalk 18:20, 19 Jan 2005 (GMT)
"as long as this article is still on, why not use it?" - This argument makes no sense. If the page is about a single nation, then it should be moved to a name that reflects that nation. Continuing to use an incorrectly named article is pointless, given the relative ease with which articles can be renamed. It's not a needed disambig page, as only one nation is using it for the same purpose as other dynastic pages.
I'm just going to move it and make appropriate edits. → Fris Θtalk 20:58, 19 Jan 2005 (GMT)
