Also known as the Costa Bravan Credit, the national currency of Costa Bravo, the Tortugan Credit is often referred to as simply the Credit. It was adopted in 1985 by Regent Jacques Pierot, during the Pierot-Motisse Reformations. The Costa Bravan currency prior to the Reformations was the Costa Bravan Dollar.

As of late July, 2006, the exchange rate between Tortugan Credit and USD is .75.
