Jacques Vincent Pierot, arguably, was one of the most influential Regent through the history of Costa Bravo. He is famous for overturning the corrupt Costa Bravan government with his Pierot-Motisse Reformations to which he (and his aid, Bilbo Motisse) lends his name. He is lauded by the citizenry to be one of the greatest Costa Bravans to ever live, though he is not without his detractors: he is generally criticized for straying from the traditionalist "father knows best" mindset, and investing more power in the people.

Pierot Day, June 20, is a government holiday in which Costa Bravans are called upon to honor his memory.
