The F-50 was the first plane ever designed by Willink, and its first jet fighter, entering service in 1950. It featured a powerful main armament of 6 12.7mm machine guns, straight wings, and a very primative HUD,which was based on a series of mirrors. It saw service during the war of attrition against Risban and kentuckistan, were it suffered heavy casualties. Some 600 were built, and the remaining craft were upgraded to F-54 Status a few years later. A few were sold off, and by 1970 all had been phased out of service.
