The Tomar Crown(until 1888) and the Tomar Domi were the currency of the colony and Territory of Tomar from 1812 until 1971, when the Federal Parliament of Domnonia passed the Single Currency Act in June 1971, making the Domi(Ð) the official currency of Tomar. It replaced the Tomar Domi at a rate of ※2 = 1Ð .
In 1895, the value of the Tomar Domi was adjusted to foat it equal to the Domi at 0.67Ð. This rate was seen as inflated and many economists believed it harmed the Domini economy.
Bills were issued in leafed bronze, silver and gold, with the only gold denomination being a 2※ bill also denominated as "Two Hundred One Hundredths of a Domi" or "One Hundred Two Hundredths of a Domi". Bank notes were issued by the Commercial Bank of Tomar.
