A Member of Parliament or MP is a representative elected to a parliament. Most MPs are elected from specific districts but many nations also employ systems of proportional representation in their parliaments.

Commonwealth of Peoples

While there is not a Commonwealth Parliament, five of the ten individual member states have parliaments or other legislative bodies the members of which are referred to as members of parliament.
