Aaron Chairkes was the President of the Aaronian Empire and leader of Imperial Aaronia during the Yumanarian Engagements.
He was a Tzerakisian, and his homeland was the mountains of Tzer, though he later made his home at Portaños at the time of the presidency.

As a Senator, he was often criticized for graft and corruption, and used his corporate connections to amass great wealth. Aaron Chairkes was usually accompanied by beautiful female aides and strong bodyguards.
In 1779 he was nearly assassinated in Goonatileke while negotiating between the Scotllian Banking Guild and Simonvian Mining Operations over a mining dispute, but was saved by Dazaki Master Jelan Nerat.
