Olivia Bream was the goalkeeper for Bedistan's national football team in World Cups 5 through 8. She was named as part of the all-World Cup 7 team by the Lemmitanian FA and reached two World Cup semifinals and one final, achieving a fourth-place and a second-place finish. Bream is generally considered to be the best Bedistani goalkeeper ever, competing in fifty international matches and conceding only fifty goals at a time when Bedistan was a totally unproven force in the NationStates sporting world.
When the Bedistan Football League was first created in 2014, Bream elected not to play professionally in the League, as did everyone else that had been part of Bedistan's World Cup 5, 6, and 7 teams. These players all maintained their eligibility to serve on the national squad, though.
