History of the Dynasty

A list of the rulers of Alessandri. The dynasty, while in nearly all cases has passed directly from father to son, has changed its name four times in the history of ite dynasty. The royal family originated in Teck, a small farming village in Brunswick, where, during the War of the Sentry, an oracle led a small party of monarchists to the home of Jozef von Otmann, whose son, Kristofor, it was predicted, would rise from the slums of Alessandri and bring peace and glory to the land. Kristofor, then sixteen, was wisked away to Jetternacht, where he was installed at the Schloss Jetternacht under heavy guard. Three days later, he emerged from the palace wearing the ancient crown of Anhalt, and, according to legend, he rode into the thick of battle and single-handledly ended the war by offering the warlords a series of terms if they swore their allegiance. The warring duchies were then united into the Alessandrian Empire. Years in Alessandri are calculated in 'DE' which stands for Domine Era.
