Overview

The German Alliance is a group of nations strongly patriotic to Germany. Our region is strictly anti-Nazi and welcomes any German nationalists into our region. If you are a German nationalist and wish to join our region, please send a telegram to one of the following members on the list below.

The Ranking System & Regional Laws

This section has been created by Die Deutsche Staaten, the Chancellor of The German Alliance. The above was created by United Deutschland, who is in charge of this page. Here is the Ranking System, Regional Laws, and the Government Setup. I created this to let regional members and those who wish to join have a quick refence to these documents. Thanks.

The Ranking System

How you climb the ranks & also how you earn my U.N endorsement. Sidenotes are identified in brackets(Ex. [I], sidenote one)and are explained immediately after the section. Below are the ranks you can earn, with the amount of points you need to reach the rank.

0 points makes you a Corporal

10 points makes you a Lieutenant Colonel

20 points makes you a Brigadier General

30 points makes you a Lieutenant General

50+ points makes you an Imperial General(Imperial Generals are identified by their points; for example, a 60 point Imperial General).

Ways To Accumulate Points

- 10 pts for being a U.N member [I]

- 10 pts for each successful recruitment [II]

- 20 points for playing the offsite game [III]

Sidenotes for the Ranking System

I Must keep U.N membership or points will be stripped from you.

II Recruited nation must comply with all regional laws.

III Must continue to be in game to keep points or they will be stripped from you. === Regional Laws === To be followed by all members of the German Alliance.

1. Must have some kind of German flag.

2. Must have a German title.

3. No Nazism.

4. No spamming. Spamming will be reported: immediate ejection.

5. Do not share the regional password w/o permission from the Chancellor.

6. No anti-German posts or treasonous actions in the region against the government (government consists of U.N rep. and the Chancellor). This includes proposing treasonous legislation or motions.

7. Nations must be in the region for at least three days to vote on a U.N election or be elected a U.N delegate position.

8. Nations entering the region during an election (excluding U.N elections) may not enter the vote on that issue.

9. No extra messages (During a vote, the nation may place ONE post on the message board. It MUST have his/her vote one it. This post may have extra info on it.) may be placed on the message board during a non-U.N election.

10 Representative MAY NOT activate or deactivate regional password control, allow a new nation in w/o permission of the founder, or eject a nation.

The German Alliance Constitution And Off-Sites

In the three paragraphs below, The German Alliance Constitution is described, which describes how the government operates, by describing how to do certain actions, such as starting Non-U.N Elections. TGA off-sites are addressed in that section, after the constitution.

Non-U.N Elections

The German Alliance Government is run by its members and the founder (The founder is also known as the Chancellor). Issues to vote on can be brought forth by any of the members on the regional message board, but must have two supporters before it will be voted on (The second nation supporting the idea must place it on the message board along with the first). The proposed legislation or motion will not pass if it is deemed treasonous by the Chancellor. It may be deemed treasonous at any time before the legislation or motion is passed into law or action. If these requirements are met, an election will be held to either pass or reject the proposed legislation or motion in the regional forum. The Chancellor will set up the election. If a member does not vote by the deadline (the deadline of any vote is exactly one week from the time the voting began), that nation’s vote will be counted as disapproval of the legislation or motion. If enough approval is gained by the region (1/2 of the region must approve on non-U.N votes) before the deadline, the election will end early. If 1/2 of the region approves the legislation by the time the voting ends, the legislation or motion passes to the next stage, just like if the election were to end early. If all of the previous requirements have been met, the legislation or motion will be passed into law or will be carried out by the Chancellor (depending on the issue). There is a 24-hour grace period for the new law passed by the region for compliance.

U.N Elections

U.N elections are also held at the request of any of the region’s members. If a member requests a U.N representative during the year (excluding the months of June, July, and August; due to vacationing), the Chancellor will activate the U.N elections within 24 hours of the request being known. Voting is voluntary and daily as long as U.N voting is active. The Chancellor gives his vote to the nation with the highest rank. A U.N representative has the privilege of, but not limited to: 1 line on the World Factbook Entry and represents the region in the U.N. A representative MAY NOT activate or deactivate regional password control, allow a new nation in w/o permission of the Chancellor, or eject a nation, without first consulting the Chancellor (for security reasons).

Penalization And Appeal

Penalization may be used ONLY IF a nation breaks any of the regional laws. Offenses not penalized in the regional laws will be penalized by the Chancellor, but the penalization may be appealed by the region’s members if ¾ of the members disagree with the punishment. The person being penalized may not vote or launch the formal complaint; but may ask someone to launch a formal complaint.A separate vote must be held for each of the penalizations. For example, if one punishment is to not allow the nation to be elected U.N representative again, and the other is to remove him/her from office, the two punishments must be voted on separately. Disagreement can be placed on the message board (except during a non-U.N election: if an appeal is wanted during an election, it must wait until afterwards). If an appeal is made, it must be made within 48 hours of the first complaint (except during an election; then the deadline is 24 hours after the election is ended.). If successful, the punishment, if any, will then be chosen by the U.N representative, if any. If there is no representative, or if the U.N representative is the one being penalized, the first plaintiff may choose the punishment, if any. The punishment may not break real world US or German laws or any International Laws. It may also not break any regulations set by the NS administration.
