John Radcliffe was the prince of the Radcliffe House. He made the family important, and attempted to gain control of the throne in 811. He was killed in the fighting.

John was born in 771, the son of a provincial man, relatively well-to-do. John took over the family when his father died in 790, and made it even more successful through taking no nonsense from employees. The family became very wealthy, and in 800 it became nobility, with Prince John as the head. The family continued to be successful. On the death of jbfballrb III Blanton in 811, John announced his intent for the throne. He was, however, defeated in the first battle. He had three sons, and is the father of the Radcliffe family that eventually became the Imperial family.
