Kahanistan Imperial Marines

The Kahanistan Imperial Marines are oddly named, given that Kahanistan is not and never has been an Empire or had an Emperor. They chose the name themselves by consensus in 2111 to make their military seem more intimidating, but many polemicists have claimed the name proof of what they hold to be Kahanistan's imperialistic policies. They form 20% of the military of Kahanistan.
The Kahanistan Imperial Marine officer rank structure is identical to that of the Kahanistan Republic Guard and will not be repeated in this article. The enlisted ranks do hold some differences, however.
