Central Province is a charter member and the most populous constituent of the Community of Sober Thought. It was known as Sobriety before it federated with Pensée (now Hochelaga). Its official language is English, but there are some charter municipalities which have given status to French or other languages.
Its capital and metropolitan city is Schweindorf with ~7.5% of the national population. Other chartered municipalities include: Horseshoe County ~4.3%, Worthington ~2.2%, Middle Sax County ~2.1%, Sax-Caughburgh County 2.0%, Oak County 1.0%, Magnificent Falls County/Comté Beau Sault 1.0%, Sonnenberg Region 0.6%, baie Norden Bay 0.5%, havre Dormant Harbour 0.4% and Roydon 0.4%.
