Her Royal Highness Princess Katherina of Iksander (Katherina Elisabeth Arabella Adelaide Helene Dagmar Marie), (18 June, 1921 - ) is the youngest child and only daughter of Prince Rupprecht, Duke of Iksander and his wife, Cecilie, Countess of Arnheim. She was born at Schloss Ottosbrun, her parents' primary residence.

Since the age of four, she has been betrothed to Lord Friedrich Oskar, the eldest son of the Duke of Brunswick, who was born in 1919. Friedrich Oskar and his siblings, Ernest Ludwig (1920), Anna (1922), and Frederica (1925), vacation often with the Crown Prince's children, and Katherina and Friedrich Oskar have gradually grow fond of each other.
