The Charter of Inheritance, 1013 was a document prepared by a council of nobles establishing their authority to decide the successor to Forthar the Brute (d. 1013), the first King of Isselmere and Anguist. The document itself was declared valid by the Bishop of Isling -- one of the few literate members of court -- on 12 July, 1013.
