Qazoxian Ranking System

The Qazoxian Ranking System, or QRS for short, came into being as teams needed a ranking for the Women's World Cup 2 qualifing matches. Borrowed slightly from the RL FIFA system for Women, the rankings and how they are determined are expalined below.

How the rankings work

After WWCII, the ranking system was re-done to ensure a fair result as all of the final eight teams in Women's World Cup 2 were ranked and fairly easily won. The Points that were earned from Women's World Cup 1, will be retro-conned down as to provide an more accurate result.

  • 3rd- 2.80
  • 4th- 2.70
  • 5th- 2.62
  • 6th- 2.54
  • 7th- 2.46
  • 8th- 2.38
  • 9th- 2.32
  • 10th- 2.26
  • 11th- 2.20
  • 12th- 2.14
  • 13th- 2.08
  • 14th- 2.02
  • 15th- 1.96
  • 16th- 1.90
  • 17th thru 20th- 1.80
  • All others- 1.70


To avoid good teams from receiving massive points bonuses, in each successive cup, the points you earn are cut in half and only the last Three Cups will count towards your Rank. Therefore the Highest number of points any team can have is 5.25 points and the worst anyone can have (after competing in 3 cups or qualifying stages) would be 2.975 points; leaving a difference of 2.275 points between the highest ranked team and the lowest ranked team. Therefore almost any team can qualify for the Cup one year, and have a decent shot at winning it. This also improves the chances of big upsets, encouraging more participation and less stagnation at the top than in the KPB ranking system. Since this is a better you finish system for the most part, the more you RP in the tourney, the better chance you have of finishing better and thefore the higher rank you could get.
