12 Inch Naval Gun

This caliber of naval gun was the main armament on the earlier Dreadnoughts, but due to the steady escalation of naval firepower technology, was strictly reserved for battlecruisers, "heavy" or "large" cruisers, and/or pocket battleships after the end of WWI, along with 11" and 13" guns. "Full sized" battleships progressed to using 14-16" guns.
