Weapons of Eden-IV

On Eden-IV, there are a great number of different weapons.

Firearms

Firearms are not really rare on Eden-IV, but they have not yet pushed aside the wide range of melee weapons, due to Eden-IV's lack of chemicals necessary to produce great amounts of propellants used in firearms with the exception of black powder. The Germanistan army employs a variety of firearms and heavy guns, aswell as do most smaller nations.

StG-G3A Assault Rifle

The basic assault rifle used by the Germanistan Storm Troops.

SA-GraT Grenade Launcher

A one-shot grenade launcher designed to be tapped onto the barrel of a StG-G3A Assault Rifle. The grenades fired have a diameter of 34mm to 40mm and can be fired over a distance of about 50 meters. This weapon is used by high-level Storm Troops to clear a path through heavy defenses. The high explosive warheads used in the grenades make good against enemy infantry, light vehicles and light structures, but are useless against concrete walls or heavy armor.

Pulse Weapons

Pulse Weapons are used in a wide variety on Eden-IV. These are melee weapons that use pulsed kinetic energy released upon impact to inflict heavy damage even on armored targets. The stored energy can also be fired at the enemy as a method of ranged attack, but close combat strikes are much more efficient. All Pulse Weapons have been produced before the end of Sothfar, and today, there is no technology left to replicate them.

Pulse Halberd

The Pulse Halberd is the weapon of Ruby Guard members. It is basically a hlaberd with a storage and emission device for KE pulses at the top of the shaft.

Pulse Scythe

This weapon is used by the Grey Guard. It is a scythe that releases a kinetic pulse in addition to slashin the target.

Pulse Hammer

The Pulse Hammer is a pulse weapon variant unused by the military forces of Eden-IV. One of these weapons is installed on the HEPHIAST ArmSuit.

Pulse Meteor Hammer

A Meteor Hammer is a heavy weight on a chain. In the case of the pulse meteor hammer, an heavy KE impulse is released upon impact. This weapon is wielded by Celine Ayfer as weapon of choice.

Pulse Saber

The Pulse Saber is essentially a Pulse Scythe with a much shorter shaft and an additional horizontal handle. It allows for rapid slashes and strikes, unlike the long-shafter variants, and is considered one of the most effective pulse weapons against infantry. It can also fire kinetic pulses. It was widely used by mercenaries and as personal sidearm, but unused in the military due to its lack against armored targets. One of these weapons was wielded by Hector Raynheartz.
