The Air Force maintains a large fleet of C-5 Galaxy, C-17 Globemaster, and C-130 Hercules transportation aircraft with an equally large fleet of aerial refuelling tankers.

History

The RDF was proposed to the General Assembly on April 19th following the appointmemt of Lieutenant General Mains as regional military advisor. A Joint Staff was approved by the Sec.Council, and brought forth the rapid development of the DSRDF. The Army was completly organised in a few days along with the Air Force. The Navy and Nuclear forces lagged far behind in organization due to the vacentcy of the senior positions. During the Deep South Civil War the Army and Navy brought a quick end to the conflict with little bloodshed. During the Capital insurgency and subsquent nuclear emergency, the RDF logistics branch showed it's eneffectiveness due to uncorrodinated supply attempts. Air Force was also put under strain due to outdated equipment.
