The Deep South came into existence on April 18, 2007 in order to provide a meeting place for those who wish to express ideas and concepts in the environment of many regions and nation states. As a founder, I have seen the rapid development of this region and hope to see many take up their chisels and use our forum as marble to sculpt the detailed, complex personification of an electrically imaginative, sharply contrasted universe. It is just such a world we live in today, and by attracting dedicated members the Deep South has and will continue to serve as a model of personal and international relations. Already, I’ve seen members come to the brink of war to achieve peaceful relations; others have gone beyond trade relations to create synergy. Pseudo-serious players have worked with experienced, even jaundiced members to fashion a functional union of nations who cope with emergencies and routine matters with astonishing efficiency. What has been done is spectacular and it is with optimism and confidence I present this rough sculpture to the world so everyone may create the masterpiece that they have in them.
