Tolvanic Military
The Tolvanic military is tasked with defending the territory of Tolvan and protecting Tolvanic interests abroad. The Tolvanic military is small by world standards but it is among the best trained in the world and is well equipped. The military consists of the Tolvanic Army, Tolvanic Navy, Tolvanic Air Force, Special Operations Forces Command, and Reserve Forces Command. The Tolvanic military is under civillian oversight through the Ministry of Defence.

Tolvanic Army
The Tolvanic Army is the Tolvanic military's largest branch. The Tolvanic Army is primarily expeditionary in nature as Tolvan's geography and location has rendered it relatively safe from invasion throughout its history.
The Tolvanic Army currently consists of eight corps level headquarters, twenty-four divisions (six armored, six mechanized infantry, three motorised infantry, six airmobile, three amphibous assault), three armored cavalry regiments, six artillery brigades (four armored, two airmobile), six air defense brigades, six combat engineer brigades (all mechanized), six attack aviation brigades (in addition to those assigned to the divisions), six aviation lift brigades (in addition to those assigned to airmobile divisions), six military police brigades (all motorized though two are airborne capable), and six Theater Sustainment Groups (TSG).

The Tolvanic Navy is Tolvan's senior service. The Tolvanic Navy is responsible for defending Tolvan's territorial waters, protection of Tolvan's Seagoing Lines of Communication (SLOC), defending Tolvanic interests at sea, and projecting power in support of National Policy Objectives.
It includes 16 Kestrel class aircraft carriers, 60 Resolute class destroyers, 30 Shaw class destroyers, 30 Storm class frigates, 45 Commonwealth class corvettes, 31 Wraith class attack submarines, 24 amphibous assault ships (6 LHDs, 12 LPDs and 6 LSTs,) and 108 support ships.
In addition it controls Coastal Patrol Command, several squadrons of maritime patrol aircraft, and fifteen carrier air wings.

Tolvanic Air Force
The Tolvanic Air Force is tasked with protecting Tolvanic airspace, providing deployed ground forces with air superiority, close air support, and tactical strike support, as well as conducting strategic strike and transport missions. The Air Force is made up of three component commands: Tactical Air Command, Strategic Air Command, and Transport Command.
It currently fields 30 fighter wings, six attack wings, three electronic warfare wings, three aerial control wings, three reconnissance wings, nine bomber wings, fifteen airlift wings, and nine aerial refueling wings.

Special Operations Forces Command
Special Operations Forces Command controls all special operations forces in the Tolvanic military.
These include the Special Air Service, Special Boat Service, Special Reconnissance Regiment, Tolvanic Army Special Forces, 73rd Special Tactics Wing, 23rd Pararescue Squadron, 150th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, 312th Special Operations Wing, and the 1337th Special Applications Group.

Reserve Forces Command
The bulk of the Tolvanic military's combat power lies in the active duty Regular Forces. However, there are substantial amounts of forces held in reserve throughout the country. Currently all able bodied males are required to serve two years in a Reserve Force unit upon reaching his 18th birthday, the only exceptions are those individuals who wish to join the all-volunteer Regular Force. Reserve Forces units can not be deployed outside of Tolvanic Territory without a formal order issued by the Prime Minister and approved by at least a 75% margin in the Parliament. In addition the Provincial Governer of the province in which the unit is based must also approve.
Reserve Forces Command consists of the following branches: National Guard, Air Force Reserve, Air Defense Command, Coastal Defense Command, and the Individual Inactive Reserve.
