Provincial Internal Security
The Захолустная Внутренне Обеспеченность (ZVO) or Provincial Internal Security are the counterpart of The Empire Of The Wolf's Imperial External Intelligence. They are much larger, as is necessary for an organisation dedicated not only to countering foreign espionage within the Empire's borders but in keeping the Provinces under control. They are engaged in a long-running war against the July Loyalists and other pro-Nazi and pro-Fascist extremist nationalist groups across the Empire, notably the Hatarian Liberation Movement and its splinter groups within Hataria Minor. In short, the ZVO are the secret police of the Empire; their work is carried out in the shadows.

Departments within the ZVO
Unlike the CVS, the ZVO's departments are centred around the Provinces. Each Province has its own ZVO department, and all are commanded from the Atopian Palace of Progress in Megalopolis Primary. Traditionally, while the CVS is commanded by a Skgorrian, the ZVO is commanded by an Atopian.
Atopian ZVO
In common with all the other departments of the ZVO, it is split into numerous different sections. Each section is comprised of - in theory - six people. In reality, following the One-Day War, most sections are of three people; an officer and two policemen. These sections co-operate during operations.
