Order of the Maple Leaves

The Order of the Maple Leaves is Kelssek's highest civillian honour. Created in 1967, the Order was established to recognize the lifetime contributions made by Kelssekians who made a major difference to Kelssek or the world, as well as efforts made by non-Kelssekians who have "made the world better by their actions". The serving President of Kelssek is the Sovereign of the order, as well as its Chancellor and Principal Companion.
There are four grades of award; from lowest to highest; Member, Officer, Companion, and Knight-Companion. The postnominals for the awards are MML, OML, CML and KML respectively.
