Jessamyn Ralin du Shalon is the current Reigning Seat of The Disputed Territories of Vulneris. Her relationship with her nation is an odd one, considering her history in the Intellbryn files.
Born a twin sister to Shaun Pollox du Shalon, her childhood was nothing akin to different or abnormal. When she was of age, Jessamyn Ralin was appropriately betrothed to Eaan Dre'Grin (deceased). Due to circumstances either still unknown or otherwise considered classified, Jessamyn Ralin was found to be missing and Eaan in a grave state of health. Her absence spanned several years. Upon having been found to be living in a foreign nation under an assumed name, she was deported to her birthhome. Found guilty of charges that undoubtedly include attempted murder, she subjected to the cruel punishment of Breaking and thereafter considered exiled.
Again - the exact circumstances surrounding Jessamyn Ralin's return to power in Vulneris are vaguely recorded in the Intellbryn files. All that is publicly recorded is a text rescinding exile and the returning of all titles and stations. She quickly wed Gyles d'Marte.
The position of Reigning Seat is a lifetime position. Next in line for the Seat is Shaun Pollox, currently Lord Commander of the Intellbryn.
Father by Gerald du Shalon and Selena Rau du Shalon, Jessamyn and Shaun are the only surviving children of their generation. Geoffrey Bain is a deceased elder brother. Jessamyn's children are young twins, Eaan and Emma. Eaan is third in line for the Seat.
