.mlk is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Federation of Malkaigan.

Second-level domains

.com.mlk, .net.mlk, .org.mlk, are managed by Network Authority and are available for registration by the public. The other second-level domains are managed by various government agencies, and generally more strongly controlled.

Allocation of domain names

Allocations are on a strict first-come, first-served basis to qualified applicants. There are no territorial restrictions: applicants need not have any connection to Malkaigan.

.com.mlk is by far the most used of the domains, followed by .org.mlk.

The intended restrictions of .com.mlk, .org.mlk and .net.mlk to companies, organisations and ISPs are purely nominal; in practice, they are open to any and all applicants.

.nic.mlk is used solely by the underlying network infrastructure and registrations are not permitted except by by the Network Authority.

.acd.mlk domains are intended for the use of higher education institutions (beyond compulsory education age). Primary and secondary education uses .edu.mlk.
