The 2016 Oliverrian election is something that might be special for some people: it confirmated Oliverry as a nation that will have minority governments forever. The votation was pretty divided between provinces and it's the provinces ideology that decided who won.

Electoral campaign

Parti Néo-Démocrate

The Neo-Democrat campaign was simple: state that he did a nice job during the last years. They promised many things such as Tax breaks and reduction of the Federal Tax on products.

Parti Fédéraliste

The Federalists really suffer from Sam Gagnon's retirement. They had difficulties to do a nice job politically. Again, they promised to give more power to Provincial governments and they told us that Communists and them might form an alliance if the Federalists are elected.

Parti Communiste

The Communists concentrated their efforts in Sud, their stronghold. Alexei Limbruenkov campaigned in other provinces, but their support was not big. They confirmated that they would join the Federalists if they won the elections.

Parti Libéral

The Liberals are having big difficulties since the 2nd Republic has been proclamated. Their new politics look like the Neo-Democrats, something their supporters hate.

Parti Conservateur

The 7/8 of the party are Religious Radicals. So, they concentrated their efforts in Southern Limbrogidlia, where they can get elected. We all know what they promised: Repeal of the Gay Marriages Act, repeal of the Prostitution Act and repeal of the Abortion Act. Their support is not in the southern part of Oliverry for sure.
