Aboriginal Danaans are the first inhabitants of Dana and the other Islands of Mists. These inhabitants first came to Dana thousands of years ago through the South Atlantic Passage. They can trace their heritage back to a variety of Pacific peoples, although they primarily identify with the people of Kīlauea, half a world away. Aboriginal Danaans continue to live in Mists, especially in the Principality of Pele.
