Pele

Pele is an island principality of the Resurgent Dream located to the northwest of Dana. The principality language is Hawaiian and the established church is Unitarian. The state, populated mostly by humans of Polynesian, Anglo-Saxon, and Japanese descent, largely bases its society in traditional Hawaiian culture. In some rural areas, the ancient system of kapu remains quite prevalent. In most areas, however, more modern ways prevail.

Pele is a popular vacation spot and her warm beaches, unique culture, and wild jungles attract tourists both from the other principalities and internationally. Some among the Polynesian population complain that tourism and modernization is destroying their way of life and agitate for less tourism and more local autonomy.
