Adal Oliver Sachs is the publisher of the Agwenberg News and Record. He was born in Wintermore and earned his bachelors degree in Danaan Studies from the University of Wintermore. He was a reporter for the Naoley Herald from 1975-1983. He worked in various business offices of Cousin Books until 1996 when he moved to Agwenberg, Thorlund to start to the News and Record.

Sachs plays an important role in local charities. He is president of the Agwenberg Civic Association and is also prominently associated with local sport and culture. He coaches a youth football team which plays Ambaran Rules Football. He is also a prominent member of First Lutheran Church, Agwenberg's most prominent religious institution. Sachs donates substantially to the church's charitable work.
