Altanar UN Mission

The Altanari UN Mission is housed on the 15th floor of the UN Building. It consists of an Ambassador, a Deputy Ambassador, a Security Chief/Advisor and six Royal Guardsmen assigned to the Mission Security Detail.

Age: 34
Birthplace: Provincial Hospital, Nalioka City, Nalioka Province
Family: Son of Lord Jaxatha Krytellin of Nalioka. Officially designated Scion of the Third Generation. Unmarried and currently single.
Education: Attended Nalioka Lower School 1 and Nalioka Upper School 1. Upon graduation, attended the Royal University of Ael Khalas, earning a master's degree in Public Affairs.
Employment: Several political positions within Altanar, most recently Prime Minister (2004-2006).
Background: Heir to the Lordship of Nalioka. Known widely in Altanar as being more progressive-minded than his very conservative father. Also reputed to greatly enjoy socializing and drinking.
Politics: An official member of the Modern Democratic Party, much to the consternation of his family. Krytellin has been a close friend of King Aelkyn for several years.

Responsibilities within the UN Office: Krytellin is in charge of the entire UN Mission of Altanar. His primary responsibility is to be the official voice of the Mission, as well as to cast Altanar's vote on UN issues in accordance with the desires of the Altanari government.
Interests: Music, drinking, food, writing, jogging, weight training, Altanari politics.

The Honorable Jinella Agaranth
Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations, Kingdom of Altanar

From the Official Biography:
Age: 29
Birthplace: Central Akamas Hospital, Nara City, Nara Province
Family: Daughter of Limaro and Kelina Agaranth. Unmarried, but in a relationship with Perikel Draskanan, a deputy mayor in Nara City.
Education: Attended Nara Lower School 2A and Nara Upper School 1A. Upon graduation, attended the University of the Akamas, earning a master's degree in Government.
Employment: Joined the Altanari Ministry of State in April 2005. Was named Deputy Ambassador soon after Altanar opened its UN Mission.
Background: Neither from a noble or royal line, Jinella brings the voice of the people to her role as UN Deputy Ambassador. Rumor has it that she was chosen specifically by King Aelkyn for precisely that reason, although this has never been confirmed. She is polite and soft-spoken, preferring to let others talk while she studies them. She is the first native Akamian to be chosen for such a high-profile diplomatic role representing Altanar, and is seen as a role model for Akamians loyal to the Kingdom.
Politics: Jinella is a member of the Green Altanar Movement, an environmentalist party. She refuses to associate with Akamian separatists and especially the ASP. This has earned her the contempt and ire of the separatists, who consider her a traitor to the Akamian cause.

Responsibilities within the UN Office: Her primary responsibility is to assist Krytellin with running the Mission, as well as to cast Altanar's vote in the GA if the Ambassador is unavailable. She also serves as a buffer or intermediary for Krytellin.
Interests: Music, art, reading, sailing, Akamian politics and social issues.
Once said: "My service to Altanar is because of my loyalty to our people, and that includes the Akamians and the Altanari. We are all part of the same land, under the same sun."

Cmdr. Delren Meleketh, Royal Guards 1st Brigade, Kingdom of Altanar
Assistant Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations for Security and Military Concerns
Security Chief, Altanari UN Mission

Age: 33
Birthplace: Church of Altanar Hospital, Altana Hol City, Altana Hol Province. Meleketh was raised in the city of Draskatar.
Family: Son of General Parner Meleketh (Royal Army) and Lutina Meleketh-Bereseth. Married to Gelira Meleketh; one daughter, Pala Meleketh, age 4.
Education: Attended Draskatar Military Academy for grades 1-12. Upon graduation, joined the Royal Guards at age 18.
Employment: Several units within the Royal Guards; most recently commanded a counterinsurgency unit in Akamia. Was chosen for his first overseas role soon after the Altanari UN Mission opened, when he was appointed by Defense Minister Pargal Khaskereth to run the Mission Security Detail.
Background: Part of a long line of Altanari soldiers, Meleketh is an exceptionally serious individual who is totally dedicated to ensuring Altanar's UN delegates are protected. Politics: Meleketh is a card-carrying member of the traditionalist Altanari Unity Party.
Titles: Assistant Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations for Security and Military Concerns, Kingdom of Altanar; Security Chief, Altanari UN Mission; Commander, Royal Guards 1st Brigade.
Responsibilities within the UN Office: Advises the ambassadors on concerns of military or security import, which includes police issues (the Royal Police are part of the Altanari military). Is the officer-in-charge of the Security Detail.
Interests: Running, weightlifting, fencing, flying.
