Anubites

Anubites were the successful result of a large-scale genetic project in the hopes of creating the perfect shock trooper for the Atlantian Federation; otherwise known as Project: Anubis. But however successful, it didn’t see a very long service. Soon after the Federation cut back on its army drastically in order to focus on its fleet. A few decades later, the army had been completely disbanded. The Anubites have been integrated into society and are now coexisting peacefully. They, unlike the other two species, are specificly bred for war, and are even more of a warrior race then even the Atlantians.

Anubites look much like their namesake. Humanoid black jackals with lightning-quick reflexes and the ability to jump several feet into the air, as well as run insanely fast. One should be careful never to get on an Anubite’s bad side.

They only live to be about 20 to 50 years of age, thus giving aid to the phrase “what burns shortest burns brightest”.
