Armenia
Armenia is a medium-sized industrialized region in the Anatolian sector of the Nationstates universe. While regional population fluctuates, Armenia usually has a minimum of 10-12 nations at any given time. The climate is temperate, somewhat dry in the south, and the terrain is hilly. Much of Armenia has been urbanized, but select wilderness areas have been protected and fenced off for "the production of natural resource". As Armenia has many enemies, member nations are encouraged to invest in martial technology, particularly nuclear and air force capabilities.
Culture
‘’April 24’’ is commemorated yearly by all members of the regional conglomeracy, as this marks the date of the real-life Armenian Genocide, when Armenian community leaders were arrested en mass in Constantinople.
Policy
Official policies of the Armenian region
- No collaboration with Turks or Turkish-controlled nations
- All UN members must Endorse Vengeful Armenia or face expulsion.
- No starting fights or causing internal chaos. All choas must be directed outwards, towards odar and enemies.
The Armenian region is currently in the stage of the Revolution of Ararat, a movement by international Armenians to restore Armenian lands and gain reparation for lost Armenian lives. Ararat is the Great Sacred Mountain that guides all Armenians.
