Artur Poe (Croato-Serbia, September 3 1942 - ) is a Croato-Serbian crime and detective author and a chief inspector in the Croato-Serbian State Police in Zagrad.

Biography

There is very little know of his life, bu these are the facts that are known.

Artur Poe was born in Croato-Serbia on 3rd September 1942. He was born as an only child. His father's name was Miroslav Poe, and his mother was Nives Bonačić. He went into a elementary school in Zagrad, soit is presumed that he was born near the city or in it. After that he went into a Language Gymnasium and then to law school. While studying criminologyhe went to a language school to learn french, greek, russian, ukranian and german. After 5 years of studying criminology he went to the Croato-Serbian State Police to work as an junior inspector. he was 25 then. After 10 years of working he was appointed as the Chief Inspector for all major cases in Croato-Serbia. Until today he has 2 534 sloved cases and 0 non-solved. In 2002 he was awareded the Croato-Serbian League of Honor Medal for his literary and crime services.

He is alos the first person to publish a litarary work in Croato-Serbia. He published The Case of the "Black Horse" on September 4 1945. By thet time he published more that 200 novels.
