Discography

Angle has released one album, Memories. All of the songs on it are Shakespearean sonnets. He is currently working on what he refers to as "the proof that I can write stuff that is not/in iambic pentameter. Hey, wait..."

It is not expected to be released any time soon.

Lyrics

From Memories

Track 1:

Your music and your spirit filled the room.
You were a keystone and a crucial part
Of breaking through the murky boring gloom
To brighten every corner of my heart.
I’m sure you’ve moved to bigger, better things.
I wish you all the best along life’s way,
And may all of the gifts that your life brings
Make lives of others joyful every day.
Within my mind you will not be forgot.
How could your mark upon my brain be gone?
All of the smiles to my face you brought,
Engraved in my skin, cannot leave upon
Your absence. Although I will miss you, I
Know you are in my heart for ages nigh.

Track 2:

My face reflects within your rearview mirror.
It won’t be long until you’re out of view.
But you will never truly disappear
While I still have my memories of you.
Don’t look back, not when your future awaits.
Don’t look back, there’s nothing left here to see.
Do not look back, not when your current rates
Prophesy the person you’re yet to be.
I know that in the long run this is best
No matter how it hurts to watch this sight
For me, I know you will not feel unrest
Because we are both positive it’s right.
Don’t look back, or consider me. Instead
Let your eyes follow mine, full speed ahead.

Note: these are dubious and may not be actually Angle's work. Some theorists claim links between the subjects of these to the Memories subjects, but Angle is closemouthed.

I'd write you a song
But it would be wrong
Too stagnant, dead, and not alive like you
It would make me bored
Compared to a chord
You made up with nothing else to do.
(Chorus) Your improvisation
Gives me a new sensation
Not just sound, but vision
I'd call it improvision
You're cool, easygoing,
And never, ever knowing
The first time that I saw
You, I discovered awe.
I'd do what I could
It would be no good
Compared to what with an absent mind
You'd play with one hand
A five-finger band
And I would inspiration find. (to chorus)
I'd tell you all this
But you wouldn't miss
The praises of one who conforms
A mote in the eye
Of one who the sky
Burns open for, defying simple norms. (to chorus)

Happy Birthday: Reprise

I can forget you for a year
But now you come around
And long-repressed emotion leaps
Or at least I have found
I don't want to forget you, despite all the pain
You caused me. When you disappear
You become a legend, your tale will remain
With me until this time next year.
It's too hard to look at your face
Your penetrating eyes
Are out of place. You were so young
But despite it, so wise.
I don't want to forget you, despite all the pain.
Some believe we still keep in touch.
You become a legend, your tale will remain
But retelling it hurts so much.
The February thirty-firsts
Hide those that couldn't stay.
I scorned you once, and now it hurts
The price is mine to pay.
I don't want to forget you, despite the pain.
I wonder foolishly if meanwhile
You become a legend, your tale will remain
Am I remembered in your file?

Personal

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Angle is single. Like most people from Zwangzug, he is an atheist.
