Britain and Ireland is a constitutional monarchy, currently ruled by King Eustace II of the house of Hedingham. The King currently has absolute power in the region, and will have until the 21st February 2007 when the first Parliament is elected and a Prime Minister is installed. The region has two houses of government, the House of Commons, elected by the people, and the House of Lords, made up of Lords appointed by the King.

Britain and Ireland was founded on 8th February 2007 by The Northern Irish Empire of Caruba. It got off to a good start and in 6 days rose to 40 members. The first elections were held on 21st-22nd February 2007 and Citizen Erased of the Socialist Party was announced first Prime Minister of the region. Victor V was made Home Secretary, nettlehouse Minister of Defence and Rhivanion Foreign Secretary. The first parliament had many tasks on its hands but is confident of helping the region grow.
